 Fellow
 from

 University
 of
 Edinburgh.
 She
 has
 studied
 and
 taught
 architectural 
history 
at 
the
 University
 of
 Edinburgh
 and
 Tianjin
 University.
 With
 a 
background
 of
 research 
in 
both 
Chinese 
and
 Western
 architectural
 traditions, 
she
 applies 
a 
philosophical
 critique
 in 
order
 to
 probe
 into
 intrinsic 
features 
of
 traditional
 Chinese
 architecture,
 as
 the
 wood
 structural
 system, the
 ‘House‐Garden’
 pattern 
and 
the
 architecture
 and
 environment 
relationship.
